On June 27, 2025, Sunderland AFC announced W88 as their Principal and Front-of-Shirt Partner for the 2025–26 Premier League season. The deal is described as the largest commercial agreement in the club's 150-year history, and marks W88's return to the Premier League after previous stints with Fulham and Burnley.
W88's logo will appear on all playing and adult replica home, away, and third kits throughout the season. Additionally, W88 becomes the club's official exclusive Asian betting partner, giving them rights to activate across Sunderland's digital channels, stadium perimeter boards, and training kit. The deal replaces UK-based bookmaker Spreadex, who had been the club's shirt sponsor since 2022.
